Annual Report 2024
The SKKG published its Annual Report 2024 and is presenting consolidated financial statements for the first time. This shows: A good third of the income is used to implement the foundation's purpose, while the remaining funds are used to operate and manage the properties and to maintain the foundation's assets.
In 2024, we pursued our foundation's purpose of promoting art and culture and maintaining the extensive collection with various measures, as the annual report shows. For example, by supporting the Kultur Komitee Winterthur and by registering and publishing all collection items on the new "Collection digital" platform. A total of CHF 15.2 million was spent on this last year (including personnel and operating expenses).
We were also able to set priorities in the area of real estate last year, such as the completion of the new building on Waldeggstrasse in Winterthur and the renovation of the historic Steinberggasse 52 in Winterthur. SKKG invested CHF 29 million in these and other construction projects. Expenses for the management and maintenance of our buildings, apartments and commercial properties amounted to CHF 23.5 million (including personnel and operating expenses).
